This is the Exedy Hyper Series Carbon-R Clutch containing full carbon fiber discs. With a maximum torque rating of 760ftlbs and a super lightweight design, this should be an excellent clutch choice for a newly commissioned project. Stay tuned for more info.
Carbon Fiber is Not Just for Show
S-13 in for some upgrades
As you may have read in one of our previous posts, this owner just picked up his 13. Now he is ready for some improvements. We sat down with Anthony and came up with a plan. A larger 5130 Precision Turbo, Tomei Procams, Brian Crower valve springs and retainers were ordered, now it’s time for the install. After the install is complete the 240 will be traveling a whole 10 feet to our dyno for a fresh tune. A previously instated Apexi Power FC will be handling the engine management duties. We can’t wait to see the final results.

Stroker V8 Project Moving Along
Every clearance has been verified on the bottom end of our stroker V8 project. Next we will be installing the oil pan and then we can flip it over for the cam install. We had our friends at Comp Cams custom grind out a new cam per our specifications. This was necessary because currently there is not a cam available to meet our needs on this build.

Custom Seat Brackets
An aspect commonly over looked is driver seating position. Off-the-shelf brackets will mount your new seats but will they be comfortable, in the safest position or provide the best view possible? Batlground offers custom seat brackets for most any car, seat and customer position preference. Twisted Metal
Our Supra rebuild project is on the frame machine today. This machine along with a skilled professional is capable of some amazing repair work. To straighten out a unibody car like this takes many tons of force and several hours of time but the end result will be worth the effort. Another classic Supra back on the road!
Turbo should have been a factory option.
The IS300 is a great car, but low on power in stock form. This one has had a Swift Racing Technologies turbo kit installed with a Haltech Sprint 500 ECU. We conservatively tuned the Lexus for longevity on pump gas at 16 psi and it is putting out 436 WHP. Now it’s ready for the streets.

The new quarter panel arrived today for a Supra rebuild. Nice to see Toyota still has these available.
When every .0001 of an inch counts.
All of the parts have arrived for our twin turbo LSX project and our bare block is back from the machine shop. Now the task of file fitting the rings and verifying that all of the machine work is in spec begins. Next up we will be using Plastiqage to measure the crank shaft bearings for proper clearance.
