Need more angle?

Friday, October 7th, 2011

Batlground is now offering our steering knuckle exchange program. Bring us your S-13 or S-14 stock steering knuckles.

Our modified knuckles are fully TIG welded and extremely strong. These will allow for much more steering angle at full lock as well as quicker steering, excellent for drifting. We offer these with or without additional tie rod drop. Lowering the tie rod mount will correct bad steering geometry for lowered vehicles.

Drop of your stock knuckles and pick up our modified knuckles for $300. We can also perform this service for other types of vehicles. Please give us a call for details 770-319-9605 or drop us an email batlground@gmail.com

Tail light tinting service

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

We have had several requests lately for our tail light tinting service and we would just like to remind everyone about the details. We can tint a set of regular size tail lights for $100 and a larger set like a Nissan 240 full bar for $150. You don’t live close to our area? No problem, you can ship us your lights. We will perform our tint service and then carefully pack them back into your box and ship them back. Turn around time is typically 4 days. Please give us a call to make an appointment or for any questions you may have. 770-319-9605

At the moment we have: black, red, white, and some mixed colors printed. If you would like one, contact us and we would be happy to get one for you.

Removing Dead Weight

Wednesday, May 18th, 2011

The car is an employee owned IS300. We have started to prep the car for a roll cage and an engine swap. But before the building begins tear down must be first.  In this case part of tear down includes saws, cutting wheels, and drills.  The firewall had to be modified to put the engine where we want it.  The rear shelf was removed as well, partly to remove weight and partly to have the cage back to the rear shock towers. We will post up pics of  the cage and the engine as they go in.

Camaro digital gauges

Tuesday, May 17th, 2011

Remember that 1967 Camaro from last week? Here is the next stage that we have completed. Fully digital gauges in the factory gauge location. The dash uses it’s own sensors to show more accurate readings as well as displaying more information than the factory cluster. It fit behind the factory panel and makes the gauges match the modern ls1 under the hood.

Batlbunny

Monday, May 16th, 2011

Friday afternoon we heard shouting and horns coming from the street. Upon investigation we noticed that there was a little bunny trying to cross the road. With the help of a courteous driver we rescued the bunny from traffic with no harm to anyone. After work it was dropped off at the Cobb Emergency Vet, they will take care of him for approximately 4 weeks before being released into the wild.

Modern day 67 Camaro

Wednesday, May 11th, 2011

We are not just an import performance shop, we work on domestics as well. Here is a good example, a 1967 Camaro with a LS1 fuel injected engine. We did not perform the swap, but finished up little wiring annoyances that make the car not 100% finished. The import scene is moving towards v8′s with the popularity of the ls1 engine swap. A few years ago, v8′s seemed like they were only for the domestic guys but that is not the case now.  This however shows a ls1 where it belongs, under a hood built by general motors.  Next for the car is updated gauges and then suspension.

Batlground Blowout

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

THE OVERFLOW MUST GO!  We have had to basically shut down the shop for 2 days as we (mostly Justin) cleaned, organized, burned (Matt made a burn barrel with our plasma cutter), and threw out everything we were not using or going to use anymore. I have already made a post to get rid of the stacks of tires we have piled up in the back. To my astonishment they are almost all gone! Its been like 2 days people! We really appreciate it and we hope that y’all can get some use out of everything else that we have decided to get rid of. I am putting up this list of inventory that has to go. Anything that is not picked up within the week, will be going in the trash. I am putting some prices on certain “high ticket” items but , even if I put a price tag on it, MAKE AN OFFER. Seriously, you want to bring us lunch for some 240 tail lights bring us lunch. That is lunch for 3 people by the way. You want to bring us a 12 pack of beer? We may work that out too. I don’t think any of that will work for say… the STi carpet, but we can talk about some of the other items.  So here is the list:

2 S14 Steering quickeners (full assembly) $250

Complete Stock EVO 8 suspension (springs and struts 30k miles) $100

‘06 STi Stock Blue carpet $100

JDM Supra upper and lower oil pan (this is a potential solution for 2JZ 240 swaps. we cannot confirm it but it would work better than the USDM one.) $50

Chikara F22 4-2-1 Header $50

R33 Skyline Dash, Cluster, and Console Parts

S13 RHD Dash, Cluster, and Console Parts

300ZX Front Hubs and shocks

S13 Shift boot $15

2 S14 center tail lights

1 S14 left tail light

A/C controls (5 total 240, skyline, silvia)

KA valve cover

Megan Front upper strut bar for S14 $35

Cusco Rear Strut bar for S14 $75

S14 Climate Control (all behind dash hardware. Blower, Heater core, A/C)

S14 suspension (KYB GR-2 front struts with stock springs and stock rear struts and springs)

4 Starters ( 3 KA $20, 1 SR $100)

2 KA alternators with brackets $20

Stock used KA clutch, flywheel, pressure plate

S14 Passenger airbag

SC300 Driver airbag (Brown)

The point of this exercise is to clean the shop up, make it look better, organize our clutter, and generally reduce our stress (Dan and I both freak out when it gets too cluttered). We would like to update our work benches, get some new fabrication/shop equipment, seal the floors, and make the entire building look better inside and out. I cannot re-iterate it enough, if you see something you want make an offer. Thanks everyone!
