Enough for two?

What do you think? Are we building 2 cars or just 1?

Good Trade

Monday, January 23rd, 2012

Anthony just brought us this S-13 to inspect for him. He recently traded his old AE86 with an SR-20 for this 240 with the same setup. Don’t worry Hachi fans, Anthony has another one he is currently building.

Meet Mr. Swirly

Monday, January 16th, 2012

With this setup, fuel is pulled from the main tank and swirls it displacing all of the air to the top of the swirl pot or surge tank. This way the fuel lines have 100% fuel at all times. This unit will insure all of the air will not make it to the injectors preventing a potentially dangerous lean condition.

You’re Doing it Wrong.

Need more angle?

Friday, October 7th, 2011

Batlground is now offering our steering knuckle exchange program. Bring us your S-13 or S-14 stock steering knuckles.

Our modified knuckles are fully TIG welded and extremely strong. These will allow for much more steering angle at full lock as well as quicker steering, excellent for drifting. We offer these with or without additional tie rod drop. Lowering the tie rod mount will correct bad steering geometry for lowered vehicles.

Drop of your stock knuckles and pick up our modified knuckles for $300. We can also perform this service for other types of vehicles. Please give us a call for details 770-319-9605 or drop us an email batlground@gmail.com

Clearance FAIL

Wednesday, October 5th, 2011

We are currently waiting on the additional lift kit for this truck to arrive, but we had to move this beast for the day. As you can see 7.5″ of lift is not enough room for the 40″ tires. The next lift kit will provide plenty of much needed clearance.

7.5″ Lift Completed. 5-6″ to go.

Tuesday, October 4th, 2011

This customer decided to go with a Rough Country 7.5″ suspension lift and a 5-6″ body lift. The suspension lift is now completed and this rig is already sitting very high. As soon as the body lift arrives it will be even higher to accommodate for the 40″ tires.

Reduce Engine Bay Heat

Tuesday, September 27th, 2011

When installing a turbo to an originally non turbo car there will be added heat in the engine bay.  Waste heat from the turbo and the exhaust piping will radiate and raise your intake air temperature and cause your intercooler and radiator to be less than effective. There are a couple of things you can do to add some protection. A blanket for the turbo will keep more of the heat inside the exhaust housing. Wrapping your downpipe in header wrap will keep more of the heat in the pipe and less in the bay, also reducing the heat on the firewall keeping it cooler inside the vehicle as well.  It is also a good idea to wrap oil lines and electrical wires that run close to heat sources with reflective heat shielding.
