Wednesday, March 21st, 2012This weekend will be full of excitement at Turner Field. This Saturday the 24th will be the S2 Drift in the upper lot. Over 50 drifters are registered to run in single and tandem groups. Sunday will bring the SCCA Atlanta Region back to the lower lot for their Points 2 Autocross competition. They will have the usual assortment of classes ranging from stock vehicles all the way up to full blown track cars. Spectators get in to S2 Drift for $10 and as always admission to the SCCA event will be free.

Batlground is now offering our steering knuckle exchange program. Bring us your S-13 or S-14 stock steering knuckles.
Our modified knuckles are fully TIG welded and extremely strong. These will allow for much more steering angle at full lock as well as quicker steering, excellent for drifting. We offer these with or without additional tie rod drop. Lowering the tie rod mount will correct bad steering geometry for lowered vehicles.

Clearance FAIL
Wednesday, October 5th, 2011We are currently waiting on the additional lift kit for this truck to arrive, but we had to move this beast for the day. As you can see 7.5″ of lift is not enough room for the 40″ tires. The next lift kit will provide plenty of much needed clearance. 
Batlground’s Lexus IS300 Begins to Take Shape
Thursday, September 29th, 2011This IS has been completely gutted to make room for a full cage and an interesting drive train. Straying away from the norm, our shop foreman Justin has decided to go with an 4G63 mated to a T56. The motor an trans have been positioned much further back than the stock setup for better weight distribution. This Lexus will feature a dry sump setup with a 3 gallon oil tank for increased cooling. At this stage the motor and mock up trans are now in place to begin the motor mount fabrication.

We have had several requests lately for our tail light tinting service and we would just like to remind everyone about the details. We can tint a set of regular size tail lights for $100 and a larger set like a Nissan 240 full bar for $150. You don’t live close to our area? No problem, you can ship us your lights. We will perform our tint service and then carefully pack them back into your box and ship them back. Turn around time is typically 4 days.
